Kiefer 03:00
We were riding the subway, circa 2012 Man that summer it was hot as hell On our way to Candle, in the next car Was Kiefer Sutherland the movie star Pour me a stock ale, put it in my hand We got 8 drink tickets, for this two-piece band The Shoe was packed that night Second record show 10 max guest list, we’ll make some dough Old salts were great that night, What a fucking band Up in the front bar was Kiefer Sutherland Pour me a stock ale, put it in my hand We got 8 drink tickets, for this two-piece band I might sound cliche, but its 3-O-Clock Kifer Sutherland, double headlocks Pour me a stock ale, put it in my hand We got 8 drink tickets, for this two-piece band This night is ending, better call a cab Drinking tonight, with Keifer Sutherland

False Starts 03:13
I could use a long drive. Out of the city Cause this autumn is falling fast and I need a coffee Turn up the skinny love My gas tank was fuming But I had 20 in the bank for wine That thanksgiving All of these false starts Break in the middle I could use a little time But she's saying I needed something I could hold on You said you wanted me To drive 8 hrs Down the roads where your brother died Texting please be careful Leaning on the center lane Down highway 1 round midnight Chasing the nights we had With every passing headlight

It was time to go, the girls were at the bar And maybe we can do one more song, maybe mister jones I was so high, but you were by my side And time goes by. Wish we could go back To you and me living the life Kicked off at Dupont, it's in flames tonight screaming better stop that cab Because we only had nickels and a dimes Just so you know, I still count the day until you’re back in town we can jam Maybe play a show Man we're so tired, but we still play in-time Side by side Wish we could go back To you and me living the life We got a wife and some kids no Early bedtimes We may be up in the c suite But we're up on your stage tonight It was time to go, the girls were at the bar And maybe we can do one more song, may mister jones I was so high, but you were by my side And time goes by.

Oh Me Oh My 03:43
I can't sleep, with this devil on my back Oh lord I’ve tried My racing head, in the belly of the beast Ohh Me oh My This night won't save me In the morning I'll be fine If you want me I'll be waiting I'll just keep it all In my tight chest, never-ending dread Oh my lazy eye I’ll just waste another day, hour by hour Oh me oh my If this night won't save me In the morning I'll be fine If you want me I'll be waiting I'll just keep it all Ohh the the nights of wasted time Worrying about tomorrow Oh my days are dead gone gatta slow it down Did I lose my mind, waiting in the pouring rain My minds' so tired Did I lose my turn again, thought I could never fail My heavy heart I wasted my time, in my twenties, worrying bout the things that I'd do in my forties

Shag Ticket 02:35
Shag ticket you're waste Between these plastic cups and the minnow race It’s dumb and I need a drink in my face Someone pass the ripple chips Jello shooters, tickets flowing And my wallet set on this price Man I hate this shag Jones and associates hat is all I’ll win And I wanna go back to my place Can you tell me if my ticket won I am blinded by the overhead lights And my pizza's cold anyway Man I hate this shag I’ve been dancing to Journey, Big mistake And I wanna go back to my place.

In the morning hours, I can’t hold my head up high The little beating of your heart, my self slipped away I never wanted this, never thought this in my life I guess the less you have, is the less you have to save Another Dagger in my heart Walking Delaware, to give you a little sleep As my mind ran miles, cause you needed me Feel like a dagger in my heart I can’t sleep when you don't sleep, Another dagger in my heart, another night that I won't sleep I can't sleep when you don't sleep Another dagger in my heart, another soul I cant replace.

about

"Wrong Enough" is a deeply retrospective view on growing up, losing time, and the distance between bandmates Mike Bone (drummer) and Doug Gorrie (lead singer and guitar player). "We always knew that the Canadian Shield would never disband, but the distance between us made it challenging in the beginning to write and collaborate," says Doug Gorrie. "However, we used that distance as an outlet, and it helped us to create something truly special with 'Wrong Enough.' The record is a tribute to the power of bandmates overcoming lifes obstacles. It's deeply personal, exploring themes of love, loss, and the search for meaning in a chaotic world. And at its core, it's a celebration of the bond between Mike and Doug and the music they create together."

Despite Mike's relocation to Thunder Bay and the pandemic, the band was able to write together and use their distance to their advantage. "When Mike moved to Thunder Bay, our home town I knew we would have to thing differently," says Doug Gorrie. "But it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to us. We used the distance between us as a creative catalyst, and 'Wrong Enough' is the result."

"We've been making music together for over a decade, and our friendship and creative partnership is stronger than ever," says Mike Bone. "We can't wait for people to hear 'Wrong Enough' and experience the magic that happens when we play together."

One of the standout tracks on the record is "Kiefer," a funny story about the time when the band members saw Kiefer Sutherland on the subway on the way to record their first record. Years later, at the release party for their second record at the Horseshoe Tavern, Kiefer happened to be in attendance again, which was a coincidence that still amuses the band.

The record also includes a tribute to the band's love for Cold Molson Stock Ale, a classic Canadian beer that the band enjoys drinking at the Horseshoe Tavern.
